My Creative World

Most of the time, I find that the adventure is more interesting than the destination; that learning is more stimulating than the knowledge itself.’

This quote from Karl Hugo sums up his vision and explains his eclectic repertoire. His is a creative and vibrant world where classical music and rock, humour and drama, theatre and figure skating, computers and country music, cooking and audiovisual production coexist comfortably. Clavium is a religious/fantasy thriller written by Pier Davi and accompanied by an album of songs set to music and produced by Karl Hugo.

Noémia is a musical that tells the unusual story of a young scientist who is trapped in a love triangle and desperately searching for her ill sister.

For his first “true” musical, Karl Hugo wrote the book and composed the music. He asked his friend, lyricist Pier Davi, to join him for this emotional adventure. Almost three thousand people were deeply touched by this deluxe workshop production. A musical is a timeless work that is constantly reinventing itself.
